Improve your page with cool CSS style

Have you seen those Itch.io pages full of button effects, gradients, and moving images and wondered how they're made? Don’t worry — I’ve got you covered! In this guide, I’ll show you a collection of basic effects you can use to enhance your own Itch.io pages. Completely free!

All you need is a basic understanding of HTML and CSS. No JavaScript is used (since the platform doesn't allow it), and everything is super versatile. You can even use Google Fonts to add custom fonts beyond the default options available on Itch.io.

If you're looking for a specific effect, feel free to leave a post with your request — I'll do my best to help you make it happen. And if anything in the code is unclear or you need help implementing the effects, just leave a comment and I’ll do my best to assist you.

In the download file you can see the CSS code used in this page. Feel free to reuse it or modify whatever you need

I hope you enjoy these effects and have fun experimenting with them!

In addition, here you've a couple of websites to generate gradients in CSS or get some background tiles for your itchio pages.
